During Installation, the Plug part(1) pushes back the Valve (5) to open the air circuit.
When moving into the open position, the Valve releases the Locking balls (6) which move into the groove of the Plug.
Simultaneously the outer sleeve (3) moves forward, under spring load (9) and automatically locking the two parts i.e., Plug and Coupler.
Moving the outer sleeve back manually to disconnect, releases the balls which in turn allows the Plug to be withdrawn, permitting the Valve to moves forward automatically closing the circuit. |
